The Savage Resurrection is a garage rock band from California and a member of the San Francisco sound. Their best known song is Thing in E. Member Randy Hammon is a cousin of Paul Whaley of Blue Cheer. Influenced by Love and The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Toured with Van Morrison, Jessie Colin Young of The Youngbloods, and John Fogerty's brother Tom.
