Popular, bad attitude blues rocker whose band The Destroyers originated in Delaware. The song House Rent Blues/One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer is a medley of two songs by John Lee Hooker, with the former providing a backstory for the guy ordering the drinks. His song Bad to the Bone is partially based on I'm a Man by Bo Diddley and Mannish Boy by Muddy Waters. Five gold albums. His first live album went platinum. One compilation went platinum and the other gold. Most of his singles were rock hits with Willie and the Hand Jive being a Hot 100 hit. His version of Who Do You Love? was used in comedy film Joe Dirt.
