Info[]

Crosby, Stills, and Nash is a folk rock supergroup formed out of David Crosby of The Byrds, Stephen Stills of Buffalo Springfield, and Graham Nash of The Hollies. Neil Young, also of Buffalo Springfield, joined them later on. With Young, the band performed the counterculture staple Ohio, about the Kent State Massacre. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame without Young. It is believed the group is partially responsible for The Hollies getting into the Hall. The song Suite: Judy Blue Eyes is about Judy Collins, with whom Stills was in love a the time. The final section is sung in Spanish, but is hard to understand due to the dominant backing vocals. Marrakesh Express is about a city in Morocco noted for its cannabis.

Paul Kantner, who co-wrote Wooden Ships, passed away in January 2016.
