Soft rock band named for the drink of the gods. Three out of five of their studio albums were hits. Five hit singles, with How Much I Feel and Biggest Part of Me being their biggest at number three on the charts. Two other singles released later were adult contemporary hits. Worked with Alan Parsons and also performed progressive rock. Influenced by Crosby, Stills, and Nash and King Crimson. Toured with Fleetwood Mac, Heart, and The Doobie Brothers. They became well known for their concerts. Their Poor Rich Boy was written by Burt Bacharach. Shem von Shroeck left to play for Kenny Loggins. Doug Jackson also performed for Gary Wright. Wright also performed with Ambrosia along with Edgar Winter. Collaborated with former Journey member Steve Perry as well as Dewey Bunnell of America.
